The Association of Managements of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges, Maharashtra (AMUPMDC) herein after referred as Association was established in 1994 and registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 at No. GBBSD No. 308/1994 dated 30TH March, 1994.

The Association has been formed to consider, deliberate and formulate indicative guidelines related to various aspects of quality education in Medical and Dental fields and to make recommendations regarding matters related to medical /dental education to various authorities and bodies. The Association has always focused on the interests of the society at large and students in particular. The Association in the past decade took up common issues with the State and Central Governments, Universities and Regulatory Bodies such as Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India. The Association is committed to continuing its efforts for improvements in the field of Medical/Dental Education.
